Albert Bartlett is launching a frozen range of Rooster Fries 1.5kg into Asda, Coop and Morrisons this winter.
The hugely popular fries, are actually 100% British, made with top quality Albert Bartlett Rooster potatoes which are processed and frozen in the UK. They can be oven cooked or deep fried according to preference with a crispy outside and fluffy inside.
Albert Bartlett will also be increasing distribution on the current range in Asda, Morrisons & Coop. Farmfoods recently launched two further lines (Chunky Chips & Roasts) to take its range of Albert Bartlett branded products up to three lines.
Albert Bartlett Homestyle Chips 900g recently won in The Grocer New Product Awards 2016 in the Meal Accompaniments category. The judges praised the “great texture”. Seven out of 10 consumers said the chips were “better than what’s out there” and over 90% said they were “good value for money” (rsp: £1.75). Despite not being a new concept, 57% judged this product to be new and different.
In 2015 Albert Bartlett Rooster Roast potatoes 750g bags received the Good Housekeeping Institute Award.
