Previous clients include Albert Bartlett, the UK’s leading supplier of potatoes and frozen products, SI Partners, a global M&A advisor to creative and digital technology businesses and Dean Armstrong QC – Chair of the Elias Partnership and author of “Cyber Security: Law and Practice”.  Kate Wake-Walker worked on a press campaign for Iceland’s leading outdoor clothing brand 66°NORTH and held events in London for the Van Gogh Museums Editions Collection. She also worked within the marketing team at Eurosport International, created media relations campaigns for D&AD, Adgistics, ad agency Amsterdam Worldwide and the London International Advertising Awards. Kate handled PR and comms for branding agency Moving Brands. Over five years WWPR handled PR and comms for high performance ad agency VCCP, and was tasked with handling international communications. VCCP is responsible for the all-conquering ‘Compare the Meerkat’ advertising campaign and O2 advertising in UK and Europe. Working with the creative team at VCCP Madrid, the team won a PR Gold Lion award at the Cannes Lions advertising festival in 2013 for a global PR campaign for a mattress brand entitled ‘My Mattress Savings Bank’.

Other clients at this ‘sharp end’ of commerce have ranged from the advertising agency networks Bates Dorland, Scholz & Friends, BBDO and Publicis, ‘creative hotshops’ like Amsterdam’s highly regarded Strawberry Frog and Duval Guillaume, Brussels. WWPR was appointed to work for many prominent London-based film production companies such as Propaganda, Stink, Krygier Hirschkorn and Feel Films and two of the ad industry’s most prestigious charitable organisations; The Designers and Art Directors Association and the History of Advertising Trust. In the wellbeing and medical industry clients included the London Centre of Aesthetic Surgery, Wellbeing Escapes, Di Giulio Dental Implantologist and French cosmetic doctor, Dr Ingrid Arion.

Biography

Kate Wake-Walker was born in New Zealand to British parents, moved to Australia and came to the UK when she was three years old.  She has worked in London, Hong Kong, South Africa giving her a wealth of international business experience. Her networking skills have also played dividends in connecting clients’ senior management with the highest level of influencers not only in the media but also in leaders in related businesses, the arts and the world of entertainment.

She is a consummate PR and communications expert who specialises in creating and delivering B2B and B2C integrated strategic campaigns for companies within advertising, media, digital, creative and marketing industries as well as for companies in the lifestyle, medical and wellbeing sectors.
